FAMILY LIVING

How and when do you think people know they are ready for marriage?

  1. I think a person does not really know when they are ready for marriage until they are able to love not only the good things about their partner but also the bad. Marriage is not something you are ready for. You in a way take a leap of faith and trust the one you are choosing to spend the rest of your life with will treat you right.

  2. After a long time of being together and understanding how things work with each other, and their parents, then they are ready to agree on marriage.

  3. I think people are ready for marriage when they know they can fully trust each other, they don't hold anything back from each other, and they are totally comfortable around each other. After being together for quite awhile and having all of those comfortable things down, then I think that they are ready for marriage.

  4. I think it is a good time to get married when you kind of have an idea about the future for the both of them. I think that they should be together for quite sometime- at least enough time to get to know each other very very well, and get to know each others family and friends. You need to prepare for a marriage like thinking about how will it effect each others jobs or education, or where your going to live.

  5. After being with each other for a long time. They have to know each other really well. But you have to be having communication. Then you have to know that you really want to be with that guy and want to spend the rest of your life with.
